Terms of service.
Confidentiality
All your personal information held by Scent & Botanicals (the therapist) is treated as private and confidential. It will not be disclosed to other parties without consent.
Liability
The therapist will take all reasonable precautions when providing treatments and will only carry out treatments and give advice within their area of competence (body massage and aromatherapy). The therapist accepts no liability for any injury or adverse reaction resulting from undisclosed or inaccurate information (provided via a consultation before every treatment).
The client understands that the therapist may refuse to undertake treatment should this be contraindicated due to medical or other conditions that the client may present with, for health, safety and the wellbeing of either the client or the therapist.
Scent & Botanicals does not guarantee any particular outcome from a treatment or series of treatments.
Appointments
Appointments are subject to availability and are made by either contacting Scent & Botanicals using the contact form via the website or emailing scentandbotanicals@outlook.com.
The therapist reserves the right to refuse or terminate treatment to any client, at their own discretion. Examples of when treatment might be refused are:
If the client is under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs at the time of treatment
If the client has withheld information relevant to their treatment
If the client’s actions, words or behaviour are inappropriate or of a sexual nature
If the client is threatening, aggressive or violent, or is in any way perceived to pose any type of risk to the therapist
Full payment is still required and no refund will be given.
Payment will be taken at the time of appointment and payment for massage packages is taken in full during the first appointment.
Cancellation
Cancellation of any booked treatments must be with at least 24 hours notice. Full payment of pre-booked appointments will be due if less than 24 hours notice has been given.
Payment methods
Payment methods accepted are: cash or BACS (bank details will be provided at the time of the appointment)
Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers can be requested via the website’s contact form and are currently only in e-format and will be emailed to you once payment has been received. Gift vouchers can be produced for any of the treatments offered.
Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from day of purchase. They must be presented at the appointment. Bookings are by appointment and are subject to availability in the usual way.
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or goods.
Ethical conduct & values
Scent & Botanical’s values are to treat every living being with kindness and respect and the therapist will always aim to treat their clients with those values in mind.
Complaints
Any questions or complaints can be directed to Kirstin Kuschy (Scent & Botanicals) and can be made via the website’s contact form or by email. The therapist will aim to respond to any emails within 5 working days and resolve any issues as quickly as possible.
Clients have the right to refer any complaints to the FHT and they can be contacted via their website (www.fht.org.uk) or by telephone (023 8062 4350)
